So my goal is to get down from 240 lbs to 200 lbs by October. I'll be attending a wedding for a friend I haven't seen in a few years, so being trim would be a nice surprise for him. For me, personally, I had been intending to lose weight for years, but just couldn't motivate myself. This is a perfect opportunity to use an external pressure to force myself to do what I need to.
Realistically, I probably won't make 200 even by October, but I bet by aiming for it I'm going to make big strides. My plan is simple - eat healthier and walk around the lake everyday.
