The path to your weight loss goal

Setting goals and monitoring progress are integral to dieting and weight loss. Defining what steps you will be taking along the way to your main goal creates a clear path for you to follow. Achieving one or more of these "subgoals" gives you a feeling of accomplishment and increased commitment to the main goal.

This is the optimal diet plan: state the main goal, spell out subgoals, make sure you have some successes, and you will have increased commitment and the clearest path to achieving your weight loss goal.
