Number One. The food is the key, even though some would say it’s not about the food.
Refusing to eat does not get us fat. We gain weight from eating things that we should not. It’s not that we must not eat many things but we should not eat them in huge quantities. Even prior to the lap band surgery our first priority must be to convince ourselves that we have to modify our eating habits so as to achieve what we want. What? To reduce Fats.
Two. We all need to have experience, if you have a lap band or not.
Lap Band Surgery
It is absolutely true that most of us do not like exercising. Overweight people especially don’t like to exercise but if you’ve gone so far as to get a lap band then you may as well go the extra mile, “no pun intended.” Start with something you really enjoy doing, start slowly. Walking is a great way to begin exercising. It’s expensive and easy to use. Walking with good shoes and a positive attitude will provide more benefits than just weight loss. If you enjoy going out to dance, then do it. Put on your favorite dance music and do a little dance everyday. Once your workout has made you feel stronger and given you increased energy, it’s time to add resistance to your routine. Just start out doing a little of what you like everyday. Once something has become a habit, you will miss it if you need to skip if for a day.

Three. Never forget that attitude is a huge part of the solution.
we know to eat healthy foods that are good for us, in moderation and we know to exercise a little everyday the glue that’s going to hold it all together is called “attitude.” We must remember that our attitude and feelings about something play a major role in our success over the long-term. You require positive reinforcement. Practice affirmations and tell yourself each morning that you will keep your promise to yourself to do whatever you can to reach your goal of weight loss. Realize that even though you have a lap band it’s ultimately you and your attitude that goings to help it do it’s job. You, and only you, can achieve it and no one else.

Whether or nor you have a lap band, the support of your family and friends is most important. Placing positive people in our lives will help us better achieve our goals. Be able to have fun and be around people you enjoy being with it a major plus. The more you move, the more you lose and when friends say, let’s go, then go. Tell your family and friends about your goals and how you plan to reach them and recruit their support. There will be those who try to sabotage your and once you realize who they are shy away from them until you feel strong enough to say no to their unhealthy eating habits.
All the things you have done, and everything that you are doing now, it is just for you. You made the decision to get the lap band, you’ve got it now and it’s up to you to do everything that u can to reshape not only your body, but your eating habits, exercise routines, attitudes and sometimes friends. For the common good, there is a need that all things work together. Remember your time is valuable, so put in the effort to make your efforts productive.
