weight loss

Cinnamon is one ingredient found in most peoples’ kitchen and is used in many different meals, drinks, and deserts. It has been a staple in many different cultures for thousands of years and was even considered more expensive then gold at some point in history. Although it is found in most grocery stores now, it is still prevalent for its diverse advantages. Its aromatic scent and health benefits make this super spice a critical commodity in the modern world.

Regulates blood sugar levels – This will help keep a stable flow of energy and mood, as well as decrease cravings. Diabetics should definitely consider adding cinnamon to their diets

Reduces LDL cholesterol – It will help reduce bad cholesterol and thereby lower the risk of heart disease.

Fights against yeast infections, stomach ulcers, and head lice – Cinnamon has antifungal, antibacterial, and antparasitic properties.

Helps with weight loss – It improves body composition by enhancing the body’s ability to absorb and use glucose, rather than just storing fat.

Great for post workout recovery— ½ a cup of low fat chocolate or regular milk with ½ a teaspoon of cinnamon will give your body protein, amino acids, and carbs to help you recover more quickly and burn fat.

However, I am not saying you go out and start guzzling cinnamon since it is toxic in large quantities. Start by adding a dab here and pinch there on your food and beverages.
