I was also interviewed on Radio 2CCC in Canberra this morning by Mark Parton who had some great questions for me regarding keeping motivated over winter.
Here’s what I told him in a nutshell:
* Focus on how you want to look in Summer and start now: Don’t wait until Spring to realise that you have stacked on 5kgs and need to do something about it.
* Start with one small thing a week and add to it: It may mean switching your creamy hot chocolate for green tea but it’s a start. Next week keep that new habit and add a new one.
* When it’s cold and dark outside exercise at home: You now have a free resource at Home Workout Exercises that gives you free workout routines using nothing but your bodyweight. Crank up the heater and do a bodyweight workout at home. You can even do it in your pyjamas. No one can see you!
