First, for the gossip-whores, an OH update:
" Your account is suspended until July 1. Continual attempts to get around
suspension by creating additional accounts will put this account in
jeopardy of permanent removal. This is clearly stated in our terms of
service and was explained in your suspension email. "We respectfully ask
that you make no further attempts to post during this suspension period or
attempt to make and/or use other accounts with ObesityHelp to circumvent
this." The terms of service are posted and they are expected to be
followed. If you continue to violate the terms of service this account
will be removed.
The below is a rumor.
Your account was not placed on suspension for any
product reviews.
Please contact us on July 1st about your account status."
Uh-yup. Will do. *insert eye-roll*
A few of your asked where the hell the tip-jar went? It disappeared when I did the downgrade and didn't come back when I had to re-upgrade. I got more irritated also, when I read the fine print and realized that it would cost $2.00 to send the funds to Paypal from Typepad, plus any Paypal fees incurred.
So, I made my own Paypal button!
If you click on my little cartoon head in the first sidebar section, it will bring you to my PP account. I'm going to use that as the link, straight to PP bypassing Typepad who wants a cut of the tips. (I didn't know this.) I have a sinking feeling I may end up exporting the blog elsewhere, if I can manage to figure it out. So, bear with me - and if you lose me in the process, just go to GOOGLE > and search for "Melting Mama." If I go ANYWHERE, I am using the same name.
A bit of good news? Sure! That, I can do this morning! My bone-density test results were normal. No osteoporosis. *throws confetti* The PCP added in the letter to make sure I'm getting 1500mg calcium per day.
I'm going to continue taking the Bariatric Advantage Calcium Citrate Lozenges. I have some samples left, and then I'm going to have to order some. They have 400mgs each, so I can have four per day! (Yay, I'm such a dork, I love the freaking calcium.) I'm going to wait to order them though, because it looks like I am adding a Bariatric Advantage eStore to the blog. I'll find out the details within a week or two, I have to get on a call with the company to discuss the who/what/when/where and why.
Okay - I'm off to throw away some stress food.
The husband came home with some I'mreallybentthatIdidn'tgetthejobandI'mmaeatmesomepie" last night. Much like a drunk, he ate himself into a apple-pie and no sugar added ice cream coma last night. Don't tell him I told you.
