Prashant and I were planning to eat an extremely indulgent lunch, so I started things off light this morning with a Chocolate Peppermint Stick Luna bar and an organic white peach. These are the best peaches I've had all summer!
![]() ![]() Our indulgent lunch took place at Royal Khyber... ![]() A quick peak of the inside... I was too shy to take more photos! ![]() The brunch menu... ![]() With brunch, we went with the flowing champagne option. I had 2 glasses of this yummy bubbly stuff (plus 2 glasses of water)... ![]() On my first trip up to the buffet, I got some salad with corn and tamarind dressing, chat, and some kind potato cake with tamarind chutney... ![]() For my entree, I ordered the paneer makhani. Paneer is Indian-style cheese and it came served in a creamy tomato based sauce. Oh my, this was so good! It also came with with rice and a spoonful of aloo mattar (potatoes & peas). ![]() I also had a piece of plain naan... ![]() For dessert, I had gulab jaman, watermelon, cantaloupe, and a cherry. The gulab jaman was too sweet... ![]() After lunch we drove to Newport Beach for a hike at the Ecological Reserve. What a great place to work off all the food I ate! ![]() |
