
I agree with Dr. McCreery, that a lifelong lifestyle change is the best way to achieve lasting weight loss, but for short term weight loss:
Restricting carbs is the best way to go. Carbs raise blood sugar which raises insulin which stores calories as fat.
We can go into great depth explaining how and why, but as far as weight (fat) loss goes, reducing your carbs is 100% the best way for the majority of America's obese.
You can do it a number of ways -Atkins, Paleo or even a modified Mediterranean
