It has been about 3 weeks since my last post. I’ve been very busy with work, taking judo and an occasional cross fit class, along with prepping to run the aforementioned 10K. I’ve managed to lose 3 pounds that I had gained in one week and ran my 10K in 60:48, a personal record by 4:40 and a very good time.
I am not having the greatest week thus far, but will recover in time for Friday’s weigh in, at which I hope to be down at least one pound.
I’m now registered for the Pittsburgh Marathon, my first attempt at one. I’ve run races of all the other typical distances: 5K, 10K, half marathon and I’ll be running a 5 mile Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving.
