Press Play: Let There Be Light

Posted Nov 06 2009 10:02pm

Well, Daylight Savings Time really effed my body this week! I was all thrown off at first. Now it’s light when I eat breakfast but dark when I make dinner. It’s amazing what an effect light can have on your body — I didn’t feel like I slept right for days! Plus, Vitamin D is slowly becoming a distant memory. So if your workouts are now happening in the dark, here are some songs to help you lighten up.

Wake Up! (The Morning Light)

Street Lights (Kanye West)

Lights & Music (Cut Copy) **So 80s sounding, in the best way!

Kill the Lights (Britney Spears)

Green Light (Beyonce)

Satellite (Guster)

Lights Out (Santogold)

Light Up (Styx)

Lights (Scissor Sisters) **So good!

Light Up the Sky (Yellowcard)

Light On (David Cook)

Flashing Lights (Kanye West)

Have a lovely weekend!
