There’s no point in complaining anymore. I think I’ve made it perfectly clear how much of a struggle this phase is. It’s so bad that I seriously considered giving this whole plan up yesterday morning. I was thinking of hundreds of excuses. “I need to concentrate on this running thing.” “The gym is too small.”
Luckily I didn’t follow through. I got back on the horse last night and suffered through the first lift of week 2. I sincerely hope that week 5 will offer some relief but I don’t think it will. The problem is the lifts themselves. Especially doing them immediately after the ab workout. Those things wear me out!
I’m going to persevere and hopefully make it to phase 7. Maybe that one won’t be such a strain. Maybe it will. Who cares. I’ve made it this far. I need to finish what I started way back in August.
