One of the Best Ways to Lose Weight is to Take Personal Risks

If you decide to lose weight -- and you're serious about it -- you need to be willing to take on a certain amount of RISK.

Yes, you can go on a diet without another thought in your head, but that probably won't really fix a weight problem. Resolving a problem with eating and weight in a way that makes a lasting change is a bumpier road to travel.

So, what are the risks? Well, in order to change your behavior with regard to eating, you will no doubt be faced with some very personal issues that need your attention. Your weight problem didn't magically happen all at once, and neither will it go away all at once. There are reasons why you have a weight problem, and they pop up when you are making a real effort to resolve the problem once and for all.

The risk is that you may experience discomfort along the way. Why discomfort? Because changing anything significant about yourself is not a perfectly smooth process.
