Yes, the oatmeal neurosis continues. Since today is a day off, I took my time for my favourite oatmeal brekkie. This time, I'll point out that I actually use 2 spoons. Yep, TWO spoons. I opened a new jar of almond butter this morning, had to spend about 10 minutes getting it all stirred up (that's a task and a half on its own without making a huge greasy mess), and the first half of the jar is always runnier than the last half, even when you stir it up well. So that, with the warmth of the oatmeal is enough to make the almond butter pretty runny, so to get the most out of my almond butter, I put it on the tablespoon just let it sit there and use the smaller spoon to actually eat the oatmeal, taking little bits of everything with every bite:
It is such a gorgeous day outside that hubby and I are actually getting our xmas lights put up outside! No, we're not turning them on, but it beats freezing your fingers off and feeling rushed to get them up in December!
The weather has been soooooooooo gorgeous here lately! It's been in the + teens (celsius)!
