Here's my meals from today, for all you food porn lovers:
Breakfast was the yummy
Muesli, raspberry & skim milk combo that I wasn't able to fancy up any different than last time, so no sense in taking another picture of the same thing. It was delish, as usual and I'm at the end of the box :-)
Snack was some Kashi crackers (the honey and sesame ones):
Lunch was the
Campbell's Hearty Spiced Lentil Soup (aka the H bomb) with a new
dessert yogurt combo that was utterly devine! It was Liberte organic no fat probiotic strawberry svelte yogurt (man, that's a mouthful on its own):

+ a few tablespoons of light cool whip (yes, there's H bombs there too) + fresh raspberries mixed in + sprinkled POM seeds on top:

This delightful little combo completely awakens your senses and finished off my lunch with a huge smile. It was insanely good! Although now that I'm getting all extra conscious about labels and trying hard to eat more organic food, it kind of defeats the purpose to add the cool whip which even though is low in calories, is an obvious health train wreck with all it's nasty ingredients. I'm going to work on some other way to fluff up the yogurt to make it taste like a creamy cheesecake goodness (it's sooo good though). I'll keep ya posted on that.
Afternoon Snack was, of course, my favourite apple, the honeycrisp:

And
Supper was soooo good, I couldn't even believe how low calorie and healthy it was! It was a grilled portabello mushroom burger (on a focaccia bun) with balsamic vinegar, melted parm regg (the real stuff), basil mayo and roasted red pepper with a side salad of mixed greens, arugula, red, green & yellow peppers, butter beans and a drizzle of a vinaigrette of EVOO, balsamic, dijon mustard & honey:

I'm tellin' ya, I felt like I was at a gourmet italian cafe! I'm having this AGAIN soon!
Dessert! These little individually wrapped chocolate treats are about 50 cals each and the perfect way to have a portion controlled sweet treat:

Okay I had another one too b/c they are good!

So after yoga I did have a few of the Pringles Select chips that I picked up just to taste them. It was the Honey Chipotle BBQ flavour. The NI stats aren't that outrageous either, really.
Anyway, my lovely bloggies, that's what was on tap pour moi!
The picture food diary is keeping my motivation revved up because I'm showing off all my awesome food choices! Whatever works! And I just realized that I never had any kind of meat at all today! I didn't even notice until now. And I had all the nutrition I needed. Although I might think twice before having beans before yoga next time. It made for a lot of painful poses!
