I think I woke up at 5 am this morning, I got on the computer since I knew I wasn't going to be able to go back to sleep. Sadly, I got sucked into some stuff and didn't get my gym bag ready in time to head out the door. So I'm sitting at my desk going over some of the stuff I found, and I'm thinking it's time for some new 'mini goals', or maybe some new commitments.
Now this has nothing to do with New Years, I don't do the resolution thing. I'm finally done making cheesecakes, seriously that consumed about 2 weeks of my life. So now I can start heading back to the gym on a more regular basis.
So what I found today was a training schedule to go from Couch Potato to 5k in 9 weeks, coincidentally there's a 5k in my area in 9 weeks. How's that for timing? So I've thought about trying to run before, and it stopped in the middle of the thought process. So I figured we'll start small here, I'm going to start the 9 week training, and if by the end of January I'm still interested in running the 5k, then I'll register.
Also I decided I'm going to stop weighing in weekly, I get a little obsessive, so I'm going to start weighing, measuring and taking pics on the 1st.
While I'm at it, maybe I'll change my page around as well, well we'll see what I can find.
