So I have a lump in my breast/peck area and have had it since December. I have been waiting a month or so for this ultrasound appointment to get it checked out. It does worry me a little, but I do not think it is anything serious to worry about. It has not changed much in that time. My doctor is very cool about it and says it "feels" very benign and it most likely a cyst. I think he is right. The only thing I think is suspect is that I also think about is that it also could be related to my soft tissue injuries from my accident. I severely pulled and strained my pectoral muscles and have been struggling with lots of pain in that area for months. Doc thinks it is breast tissue, but it does kind of fall in that grey area of the chest/breast.
We shall see. I follow up with the doc in one week for the results. No need to panic at this stage. It will be fine.
