I was at Happy Hour last Tuesday with two of my friends Mike and Michelle, (I know, I violated one of the 10 Commandments of Fat-Loss, but I did budget for the calories) and I was telling them about BeerBellyBlog and what it was about. Our conversation went something like this:
Michelle: Oh, so it’s like a Muffin Top then.
Me: What? I don’t eat muffins.
Michelle: No, a Muffin Top!
Me: I don’t eat the tops of muffins either.
Mike: (to our waitress) Can I get another beer? And a bacon cheeseburger with extra mayo and extra fries?
Obviously, Mike doesn’t read BeerBellyBlog and Michelle was getting frustrated that Mike and I hadn’t the slightest clue what crazy woman (just kidding Michelle) was talking about. So she explained to us that a Muffin Top is a women’s Beer Belly, and it happens when the pants are too tight and the stomach spills over the pants. You could see the light bulb go off in Mike’s head (mine too). So after being enlightened as to what a Muffin Top is, Michelle asked me if the exercises, suggestions and workouts found on BeerBellyBlog.com would work for women with Muffin Tops. I told her that they should work for everyone, but each person’s program would be different since we’re all different. The basics are the same for everyone: reduce your calorie intake gradually, find exercises you enjoy, and you should see results sooner or later (if you need some ideas on where to start, click here, here and here ). Most people might assume that this website is for men only just because of the name, but this website is really a website for anyone and everyone who wants to lose weight and lead a healthier lifestyle.
