There doesn’t seem to be a day go by, where you don’t hear about something new that you can do with twitter, and I must admit myself I am quite a fan of twitter. So what is the latest gizmo gadget that you can use using this social media platform.
Somebody has combined some WiFi scales, with the technology to update twitter with how often you weigh yourself it will tell you the amount of weight you need to lose or gain in order to reach your weight loss goal.
The actual price of the scales is 159 US dollars, not quite sure what that converts to in UK money. Some of the features it has are you can configure it to, tweet daily, weekly or monthly it’s entirely up to you. Once you have connected it to twitter and gone through the signup process. It will track your body weight overall, body mass index, lean fat mass.
This will be all available on your webpage and via Iphone application. Once you end able auto tweeting it will display the following on twitter how much you weigh now, and how many pounds you need to lose or gain in order to get to your target weight.
The scales are able to track eight users per month. So that would create quite a competitive spirit amongst eight people all trying to lose weight. Here is a video see can see what it looks like in action.
The thing that comes to mind now is are we going to see lots of people on twitter with their tweets saying “you need to lose a pound this week you are still overweight” and think about this scenario as well what about if twitter eventually has voice functionality as well. The mind boggles it really does.
