Lost and Teletubbies?

Posted Nov 17 2008 8:58pm

Well, the majority of the day started off well. I was so excited about Lost coming on I could hardly contain my excitement. I promised myself no sugar all of yesterday, which is normally hard for me, and I did very well. The only way I can accomplish big goals in my life is to succeed at the very small ones that i set for myself. Todays small goal is to get my fat ass on the treadmill, and of course continuing with the no sugar rule I have given myself. (anyone who knows me knows that this will be hard as I love pop (particularly coke in a can) and I own an ice cream store).

So my husband had to work at the shop until 10 pm last night and I tivoed Lost and we finally got to watch it at midnight! Frankly, I thought it was awesome, with a couple of parts where I actually found myself holding my breath. (the part where that creepy guy came to visit Hurley in the flash forward in the mental hospital, and of course the part where Hurley looked into "Jacob's" house, and the whole Naomi alive after she was dead, and almost killing Kate, making 2 tracks, and then dying again thing) . The episode reminded me again why I love Lost so much and of course upset that it was over and only craving more. I actually was pissed that it was only 1 hour instead of a 2 hour premiere, but then I figured that with the stupid writers strike and all that, i will enjoy all the episodes I can get.

Today we supposedly have some huge snow storm, but I however don't think it was all that big of a deal, I was slightly disapointed that my son still had school, when it looks as though everyone else in the county didn't, but i still didn't feel like taking him and since he only goes to preschool right now, i found it fine for him to stay home. (call me lazy........i am just sooooo glad it wasn't his snack day)

Right now my 5 month old is watching Teletubbies which I call crack for babies, (along with baby einstein dvd's) and funniest part, is that my almost 5 year old is watching it as well. I never understood Teletubbies and I find it enormously annoying when they don't even talk in real words, but for some reason babies love them. Right now all four tubbies are dancing around with a vaccuum? I am confused.
Here is a hilarious link to the Tubbies in action to Dr. Dre with the stupid vaccuum.
