I second David M's notion :)
Do you have a specific reason why you need the scale to move south? (eg: competitive sport w/weight class requirments?)
For what it's worth, "pounds" aren't all they're cracked up to be. But if a lower number would help you feel as if you're making the progress you think you should, just convert to kilograms! (2.2lb = 1kg)
How else are you measuring progress? Have you had blood work done? VO2max? 40yrd dash time? Have you "maxed out" on any lifts? Before and after photos? Body composition? etc....
The point is that there are MANY ways to measure progress - sounds to me as if you've hit the gold-mine and didn't even realize it. Great work, Jean!

LOSING INCHES BUT NO FAT
Posted by Jean H.
IT SEEMS WHEN I BECOME MORE ACTIVE WHEN I AM DIETING, I NEVER LOSE WEIGHT. I LOSE INCHES. WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY METABOLISM?? IS IT TOO OLD NOW TO WORK PROPERLY?? YOU THINK WITH ALL THE WALKING 2 MILES A DAY I WOULD LOSE SOME WEIGT. BUT I DON'T, MY PANTS FALL OFF, MY LEGS ARE STRONGER BUT NO FAT COMES OFF, THE SCALE DOESN'T MOVE. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE, I AM 64 IS THAT THE PROBLEM??? CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON??
