Dietitian Diane Kress has found the “miracle” for people with Metabolism B
Diet books come and go in the publishing world all the time, but rarely does a new book by a brand new author penetrate through the culture to make a real impact on the weight and health of the people who need to heed their message the most. And one of the hottest diet publications of 2009 just so happens to be a blatantly low-carb nutrition book that landed at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list during the summer. we hear from dietitian Diane Kress author of the blockbuster book The Metabolism Miracle: 3 Easy Steps to Regain Control of Your Weight…Permanently is here with us to talk about her discovery of a concept she calls “Metabolism B,” aka MetB. For upwards of 45-48% of the overweight/obese population, the traditional low-fat diet just doesn’t work to bring about the necessary changes in body composition and health markers no matter how compliant they are with the program. Kress empathizes with this problem because she herself is a part of the MetB class of people. Through her voracious homework of all the latest research for those of us who are carbohydrate sensitive and respond negatively to carbs, she provides a process to overcome the most common problems.
