Posted Aug 16 2009 11:00pm

CHECK OUT THE #1 LOW-CARB PODCAST AT ITUNES! We would love to have you go to the iTunes page for my podcast show and we are working hard with Apple to add back all the old archives that are now appearing at the brand new web site for the podcast. You can keep up with all the new and older episodes at the podcast feed site. Use the search function on the official web site to find the ones you are looking for and e-mail me if you don’t see your favorite interview online. My producer Kevin has been VERY good about getting up YOUR favorite past interviews, so let us hear from you.

Cyndy Kryder arms the layperson with interpreting medical jargon

Medical terminology can make your head spin if you’re not familiar with what you are reading. And honestly, to most of us non-medical people this stuff just sorta makes your eyes glaze over. But it really comes down to breaking down the root prefixes and suffixes of these long million dollar words. That’s exactly what my podcast interview guest today helps virtually anyone do with two fabulous books that I highly encourage you to get your hands on.

In Episode 278 of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore,” we hear from Cyndy Kryder, author of THE ACCIDENTAL MEDICAL WRITER: How We Became Successful Freelance Medical Writers. How You Can, Too and NUDE MICE: And Other Medical Writing Terms You Need to Know. She walks us through how she just sorta stumbled upon a career in medical writing and how others can get involved in this field as well. Hear her talk about what all is entailed with medical writing and some common technical terms that are misunderstood by the majority of the general public. Cyndy is such a delightful person who has an obvious passion for what she does.
