‘Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show’ Episode 273: David Jay Brown Says Everyone Should Orally Chelate With EDTA

Posted Jul 23 2009 11:17pm

THE PODCAST IS BACK ON ITUNES!!! At long last, we have been able to get “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore” on iTunes again, but we had to create a brand new iTunes page for the podcast. If you click on that new link, then you will be able to subscribe to the latest interviews as well as some of the backlist. My producer Kevin Kennedy-Spaien has been working very hard to get the rest of the archives listed on iTunes this week and we are so grateful for your patience through this process. Now we need your assistance with something–because we had to abandon the old iTunes page, all of the nearly 90 wonderful reviews we had there are now gone. If you have a few moments, I’d be honored to have you leave a review for the podcast at iTunes by clicking here. And you can also check out the podcast by visiting the new feed link as well.

David Jay Brown promotes the benefits of oral chelation therapy

In mid-2008, my wife Christine and I first heard about chelation therapy for heavy metal toxicity from Dr. Eric Westman at Duke Lifestyle Medicine Clinic in Durham, North Carolina. He saw that Christine was suffering from severe headaches, joint pain, and other chronic pain issues at the time that were diagnosed as fibromyalgia by her general practitioner. She’s dealt with these issues for years and Dr. Westman thought that Christine may have heavy metals in her body causing this. So he recommended we go see a doctor who performs intravenous chelation therapy a few hours from where we live and we did in late 2008. Watch this YouTube video we made about this experience for Christine.

In Episode 273 of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore,” you get to hear from David Jay Brown, health and science writer who has authored a series of books, including one with Dr. Garry Gordon entitled Detox with Oral Chelation: Protecting Yourself from Lead, Mercury, & Other Environmental Toxins. David states rather bluntly that EVERYONE who breathes and eats very likely has some level of heavy metals in their body, including lead, mercury, cadmium, and more. It’s in the soil, so we cannot avoid being exposed to it. But the good news is, there is a way to remove these dangerous toxins that are threatening our health and it’s with chelation therapy.

Although those treatments Christine received last year intravenously were extremely expensive (we’re still paying off that bill and will be for a while!), the oral chelation with EDTA that David discusses during today’s interview is quite affordable and easy to administer. In the two months since I read David’s book and interviewed him, Christine and I both have been taking EDTA as part of our daily supplementation. We take it first thing in the morning, wait a couple of hours to let it do its work, and then take our regular vitamins and supplements. It’s difficult to tell what this oral chelation is doing for us right now, but I am confident the heavy metals are being remove effectively and affordably. ENJOY hearing about this cutting-edge information from David Jay Brown today.
