Is There Really Weight-Loss Magic?

Posted Oct 07 2012 5:00am

What if you were told that when it comes to losing your unwanted weight you don’t have to go through a terrible struggle? What would you say to that?

Can you imagine if you could lose the weight you want to lose without all the effort? It would be like taking a magic pill. Poof! No struggle. All the weight you needed to lose would be gone.

Now there is no magic pill, and you can’t lose all your weight overnight. But you can go through the weight-loss process with much less struggle. Here’s how.

Identify what is making the process of weight-loss such a struggle for you. What is it that you have to fight against when you want to lose your unwanted weight? What spoils your attempt at keeping the weight off?

These are the matters you should be dealing with. Exercise and dieting don’t help you here. You have to tackle these matters personally. You don’t have to do it without help though. This is where you can use psychology to lose weight.

We’ve written lots and lots about using psychology to lose weight. Please visit The Reading Room or take a look at the White Paper, both of which are on the left-hand side of the blog. Or, if you want to have an actual book or an e-book to read through and refer to, check out the weight-loss books for women section on the right-hand side of the blog.

If more specific help is needed, email us at and we’ll point you in the right direction.
