If you want to lose weight, you need to change something big about yourself: your eating.
In order to do this, you must have your own reasons. It's not something you can do because someone else wants you to. It almost never works in the long run, unless the weight loss motivation and the desire to change overeating into normal eating comes from within you.
You can't do it if you yourself don't want to do it. No one can pressure you into it. No one can force you into it, try as they might.
On the other hand, if you come to the point where you make up your own mind to change your eating habits and lose weight, not much can stand in your way. Nothing is as powerful as a made up mind when it comes to losing weight.
