But let's be honest - how many of us really feel like putting in a lot of activity when we are already on a diet? It's very easy to say - oh, I've already reduced my calorie intake, I don't need to exercise, too. Besides, I'll waste away to nothing if I work out with this little amount of food.
If that is your response, you are not on a healthy diet! If you are eating right, upping your activity level will get your blood circulating and make it easier on your body to rid itself of toxins and excess weight. When I'm on a diet, I feel sluggish (even if I am eating the right foods) because I am sad that I don't have my emotional crutch (eating). Exercise gets my blood flowing and releases endorphins that I desperately need in a time of "deprivation."
If you're on a diet - I'm telling you. It will work a lot better - physically and mentally - if you get that body moving.
