I was admitted into the hospital around Midnight on Wednesday. Goddamn,
these past few days have been absolute hell--a raging headache that feels
like a knife has pierced my skull, incompetent nurses and doctors poking
shit in me all day long, and no food network on the television. I've never
been in so much physical pain in my entire life.
The worst procedure I had to go through was a spinal tap, which is
basically where a doctor sticks a huge ass needle into the back of your
spinal cord to get some of the fluid out. I had to get this done twice
because the first doctor was a dumbass asinine idiot who didn't know what
the hell he was doing. "Oh, I'm going to randomly stick this needle in you
until I find your spinal cord". After torturing me for ten minutes, he
finally decided that the needle wasn't long enough. Fuck you, you
incompetent asshole.
I seriously think half of the staff at this hospital needs to be fired.
I shouldn't have to always ask to see the results of my tests. And when I
ask for water, nurse, don't give me sprite...One of the IV specialty nurses
was super creepy and told me "you have some nice veins...and skin".
I was like, seriously, WTF is wrong with you?
I'm incredibly bitter right now because I have viral meningitis. It's
extremely painful, but not as painful as bacterial meningitis--which I could
only imagine is an infection that would make the person want to commit suicide.
I was doing pretty well with my diet, but yesterday I was just fucking fed
up with how horrible my day was and had my friend bring me some McDonalds.
The food at the hospital is pretty poisonous. You'd think they'd be able to
afford better tasting food for how much they are charging you up the ass,
but apparently not.
Thanks to the few people who did come by to visit me. It means a lot.
