Hey blogger friends! Sorry, I've been MIA for the last couple of weeks, but I have a good reason for being gone so long. Prashant and I found out some very good news about 5 weeks ago... I'm pregnant! Yep, that's right folks, I'm going to be a mommy!! Prashant and I are beyond happy-- we are absolutely ecstatic.
Now, to get to the reason why I'm not blogging. To be honest with you all- I've had a lot of morning sickness. No scratch that- I've had a lot of all day sickness for the last couple weeks, and by the time I get home from work, I am exhausted. Prashant has been my savior; he cooks, he cleans and he cares for me when I'm sick. I'm officially nominating him for the best husband of the year award.
I don't know when this awful morning sickness will subside, but until then, please bear with me. I will try to blog when I'm feeling up to it, and I will try to comment on as many blogs as I can. I miss all of you!
Oh, before I go! I checked my weight this weekend, and according to the scale, I've gained 9 lbs. (gasp)!! I know that I've been eating, but not enough calories to gain 9 lbs. It must be water retention or something... Oh well, I'm not going to sweat the small stuff right now, and instead concentrate on eating as many nutritionally dense foods as possible.
