I’m registered for Disney's Princess 1/2 Marathon ! There are so many other details that I need to figure out for the event (like where I’m going to stay)…but at least I’ve got one major thing done. I was getting a little nervous because registration is almost 80% full. I definitely wanted to register before the event was closed. Plus if you want your name printed on your bib, you have to register prior to January 1st. So now I am officially Princess Poppy!

That’s right kids…I’m so HARDCORE, I’ll be running on Christmas day!
Starting in January the schedule bumps it up a notch and has me running 4 days a week. For my runs during the week, I’ve been waking up early, and running before work. BUT…it’s kind of dark, and I really don’t like that. The problem is, that by the time I get off work and drive home, it’s dark. So this weeks plan is to run at a park that I found near my job. I’m taking my running gear with me to work, and I’ll run as soon as I get off, and then head home. Luckily my schedule changes at the beginning of the year, which will make my running schedule a lot easier.
