This week I don’t have anything specific to write about, but I do have a lot of things that I’d like to share. I guess I should begin by saying that my outlook and attitude is completely different than it was in last week’s update. Thanks in large part to many of the comments that you left for me. I really appreciate the sense of community I feel on this blog.
Lately I’ve been finding that I have a lot more time on my hands than I have in a while, and I’m trying to enjoy it as much as possible. Free time in the winter meant catching up on t.v. shows and movies, but now that the sun is out and the weather is in the 70s and 80s, it means being out and about and relishing this gorgeous weather.

So, I’ve been filling my days by:
shopping for a few more spring & summer items to fill out my wardrobe.
spending time with family – we had my niece’s first communion on Sunday and it was so fun to see how excited she was.
hanging out with friends, including some that I haven’t had the chance to see in a long time.
taking walks around my neighborhood to clear my mind and get some fresh air and sun.
being out and about and enjoying the fact that I have a convertible.
This week I want to focus on doing more…
cooking. I’ve sort of been slacking this past week and just been throwing together food that is premade or only requires a quick stir fry or heating up. I’m going to scour my new cookbooks and my favorite cooking sites and come up with some new spring dishes to try this week. If you have any recommendations, please let me know.
catching up on your blogs. I get so much encouragement, inspiration, and motivation from reading them, and I want to try to keep up all week.
Other than that, things are going really well. I have a blog post in the works about how I spent my Saturday night. I had the BEST time, and I can’t wait to share – look for that soon.
Life is good, and I like the “nothingness” that allows me to do so many great things with my time. Sort of like a preview of summer.
