You might want to consider a short term raw food diet to see how it works with your body. You can't go wrong with more live, fresh produce and no processed foods. Not to be blunt, but the quick fix to weightloss through extreme and chemical dieting is NOT your answer to true weightloss. It will only damage your metabolism and make you GAIN weight in the future and make you weight loss resistant.
When the body is pushed to lose more than 2 lbs per week, your metabolism will start to slow down. At that point you are losing water and muscle. Not fat. When you lose muscle, you lose your insulin receptors AND your metabolism. It can be dangerous and unforgiving and can be a long road back to restoring your optimal metabolism.
If you would like to get to the root cause of why you are not losing weight, please contact me at www.getnourished.tv. I am happy to do a free Strategy Session with you to help you get on the healthy path to healthy weightloss.
My advice to you is to bring serious caution when looking at extreme dieting, not only can this be harmful to your health by subjecting your body to foreign chemicals that you've never been exposed to before, but it can also cause to you to be subject to crash dieting. A term for when you go on a "quick fix" diet, lose a bunch of weight, stop the diet, and gain all the weight back. Also, these diets can be vastly expensive, like oral drop/injections. Basically you inject your body with a hormone that women have during pregnancy that makes your body think it's "full". Regardless, this program can cost over $600 and you can't eat but 500 calories a day. NOT RECOMMENDED! Yah you maybe able to lose some weight fast, but truly how safe is this for you?Exercising and putting good nutrients in your body is the best way to lose weight, guaranteed. It may take a little bit longer, but I promise you the only way to do this healthy is to make a commitment to a life style change. I started a meal replacement program a little over 30 days ago. The meal is replacement is called Shakeology, it's made by Beachbody. I'm sure you've heard of workout programs called, P90X, Insanity, from infomercials? Same creator. Shakeology is a daily nutritional shake that helps your body gently eliminate toxins more efficiently while allowing for better absorption of the essential nutrients you need. A proprietary blend of digestive enzymes and prebiotics helps your body progressively eliminate the toxins that build up over time from eating today's highly processed foods.
At the same time, over 70+ whole-food ingredients deliver the essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals your body needs to curb cravings, allowing it to shed stored fat while the more than 20 different antioxidants and phytonutrients help reduce free radical damage that can lead to heart disease, heart attacks, high blood pressure, and stroke.I’ve been a fan of Beachbody workouts in the past, like P90X & Insanity, I think these workouts are great and will give you amazing results if you STICK to them. I noticed results within just a few weeks, but like anything you “try” comes a level of commitment. I’ve struggled with commitment in my fitness & health goals all my life. I’ve never been one to WANT to work out. It just doesn’t come natural to me, and I’ve always felt I’d rather be spending that 1 hour a day doing something else because my time is so limited. What an immature way of thinking!!! As I’ve discovered it wasn’t overnight that got me this sluggish and unhappy with my health, appearance, etc, it was a series of repetitive behaviors and habits.
I was introduced to Shakeology and I did a lot of reach before considering. I thought about it, read about it, researched it, and thought why not. I’ve liked their other products, what do I have to lose?I can get my money back even after I use the whole bag! Guaranteed! But then I tried it…
And I fell in love! Not only with the taste, but the way I felt hours after I had finished this shake. I was energized, had clarity, felt satisfied. I lost 7lbs in my first 2 weeks of Shakeology. I jump started with the Shakeology Cleanse, & lost my first 4 pounds in 3 days. My body couldn’t help but absorb all the yummy nutrients, and eliminate the buildup in toxins. I’ve also included more workouts in my daily routines, like TurboJam, TurboFire, and also added back Insanity & P90X. I’m mixing it up, so I stay motivated, focused and moving!
Since being introduced to Shakeology, I’ve committed to stop smoking! I’ve cut out Starbucks coffee, man that was an expensive addiction! I’ve cut back on drinking wine, almost a bottle a night, now down to once a week. Funny, how you just stop missing those things in such a short period of time, especially when you truly begin to focus on something that is way more important than the moment pleasures, as I like to call them.If you’d like to know more about this fantastic meal replacement and other options to help you lose weight, like exercise programs please contact me.I love helping others learn more about their health, because I was there too.I wanted to lose weight; I wanted to be excited about doing better for my body and overall health.Check out this page to learn more about Shakeology:
