Home Gym Equipment

So how many of you have equipment at home to work out? And what kind of stuff do you have. I am thinking about looking into getting some basic strength stuff so that there can't be an excuse to skip out on strength training if I can't make it to the gym for whatever reason. Plus it would be nice to have an option to change things up whenever I want.

Right now I have an exercise ball (with that heavy bean bag thing inside so it can double for a heavy thing) and a yoga mat. I was thinking about picking up some dumbbells, but the cheapy sets seem to be the ones that are up to 8 lbs. At the gym, I tend to use the 12 and 15 lb ones as of late.

I could also learn to use those resistence bands too I suppose and I could also make use of my pilates DVD that never gets used. Plus it's easy to do stair pushups and dips off the couche etc. right?

What do you guys think?
