Help, diets don't work for me

Posted by William G.

I've tried dozens of diets (I feel like I've been on a diet all of my life), purchased weight loss pills and more. Nothing works. All the weight that I lose comes back (and then some). Every year I gain another 30-50 pounds. I have a problem with portion control and I feel hungry all the time. It's difficult for me to get to the market, so I eat mainly processed foods. Where do I start? How can I make things better? I'm excited that Wellsphere might be able to help me.

Start by replacing all your snack items with healthier food, like apples, carrots, broccoli, etc... As you start to make progress with snack foods then start cutting down on your portion sizes and the types of food you eat. With a little bit of will power and support you'll start seeing the difference.
Also, if you're feeling hungry all the time you're probably not eating the right foods to keep you full. Try high fiber foods such as whole grain breads, beans and vegetables. Also, put a little protein in there, like nuts or lean meats, to help keep yourself satisfied!
Thank u so much for the comments! My problem is that I don't have will power and I'm not eating the right foods. My portion size is out of control. I can eat several bags of potato chips a day and more than one loaf of bread. I hear what you are saying. I need to find healthy foods that I like. I do like nuts and peanut butter.
On TV I saw that one morbidly obese fella lost weight on a high protein, low carb diet. I wondered if that would be a good choice for someone who is hundreds of pounds overweight.
