Good morning everyone!!!
I have forgot to tell you that I got a heart rate monitor and LOVE it!! I would recomend anyone get one. If you have been thinking about getting one, go for it! I have always wondered if the calorie burns on http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ (where I record everything) was right or not. I have read on there that many of the burns were off. I didn't want to over estimate what calories I was burning and over eat. I don't eat all of my exercise calories back but I do eat some of them some times. It is really nice to see how many calories I personally burn according to my own heart rate. Some times I burn less than My Fitness Pal has estimated and some times I burn more. This HRM is great!!
My heart rate monitor isn't a big fancy one. It is a simple watch HRM from Wal-Mart. I have tested it and counted my plus and compared it to what the monitor said. It was dead on. I have seen HRM in many different stores. I even saw one in CVS once. This one is a Sportline and was around $27 and some change. It works great for me.
It is a S7 slim. 7-Function ECG Heart Rate Watch. Patented One-touch Heart Rate + Calorie Monitor. It has 1. One touch heart rate monitor, 2. calorie burn monitor, 3. % of max heart rate indicator, 4. Laser tuned stopwatch, 5. Count down timer, 6. Time and date, and 7. Daily alarm. I haven't used the alarm or stopwatch. I love everything I have used so far!! It is a great help. You can't even get a good watch for that price so I'm happy with it.
My goals for today are
1200 calories, 40 grams of fat, 30 grams of fiber, 10+ cups of water and Day 1 of P90X.
Yes I said P90X. Keep your fingers crossed that I make it out alive. lol I watched the workout this morning and WOW! I'm really scared now.
