If you find the dreadmill boring, try listening while you run. Not listening to music but to your body. If listening to your body is boring, you need to take language lessons, because you're not getting the messages sent by your body. If your body is happy with your training, you'll feel happy during your running, whether on the roads or on the mill. If your body isn't happy about your running, you'll feel excessive soreness or pain, huffing and puffing, discouragement, burned out. The problem isn't in using the mill. It's in your training.
3 miles.
Another boring 30 minutes on the treadmill.
