Getting started is always challanging-Day 1

It’s day one of our challenge and it’s been a  challenging one for me. I started off the day with a weigh in. I did not expect to see the numbers that I saw, more on this later….

My day was hectic! First, I had appointments back to back and spent most of the day on the road. Before leaving the house I was able to make breakfast at home. Here is what I had for breakfast.

By the time lunch time came around, I bought a small bag of peanuts. I did not want to have anything that would take me off plan, so I had the peanuts.


Around dinner time,  I was still out, so I ended up buying Atkins protein bars and I had 2 of them, yes I said 2 of them!

I got home around 8pm and finally was able to make some real food. So I had chicken over salad.

I was unable to track the carb count for  any of my meals for today, but I kept every thing low carb. I think I did okay, but I will be tracking everything I eat starting tomorrow.

Now back to the dreaded scale.  Okay before you rush to judgement please remember that I had all of the holidays, my trip to the Caribbean, and the first week of the  new year  spent in  Florida. This accounted for all the weight gain because I had no way of preparing my own food. Okay, my current weight is:
