The thing about getting healthy and losing weight is that you can't stop the rest of your life to do it. The great thing about the way you are going about it is that you are identifying lifestyle changes that you can make that work with your schedule not against it. It may seem that it's going slowly but, because of the way you are going about it, you can sustain it long term. That's much better than losing it quickly.
Keep up the great work!

Well, it's my first journal entry here on the Wellsphere.
I have little trouble during the work week when it comes to what I eat. Basically there just isn't time to do more than eat enough to keep me moving each day. Of course, the weekends (Friday through Sunday) provide far too much time to snack. I have found, howerver, that increasing the fiber in my diet has helped me to curb that constant gnaw in my gut that means I need to be eating something.
The busy buys schedule has another downside to it: There's little time for any useful exercise between Monday and Thursday. I squeeze in a 30 minute asana—Yoga posture—practice those days but that isn't "exercise" per se. The net result is that although I am making headway on shedding the few pounds I should, the progress is very slow.
