Did you know that high consumption of fruits and veggies may up your chances of losing weight?

A survey published in June in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that even when people ate a high fat diet, if they also ate at least four to five cups of fruits and veggies every day, they were less likely to be obese.

Besides weight loss, eating fruits and veggies can have an effect on health. Another study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition showed that eating fruits and veggies more than three times a day reduces your risk of stroke and cardiovascular disease by nearly a quarter.
