The daily plate tells me I can eat this many ::holds fingers up:: calories.  I can't think about it that way - doesn't work for me.  If I think about 1500 calories, I overdo it.  That "sounds like a lot, doesn't it?" but realistically, it isn't - and if I allow myself to think it's "perfectly okay" to have that much - I overdo it by at least 500.  But, don't listen to me ramble about this stuff, I hate diet-head thinking, it leads to disordered thinking and eating.  I like to just go with the flow.

Now only if I could go with the flow and not over-do it.  THAT, my friends, is the cure for us fatties and former fatties.

  1. 1 Extend Bar + 1 slice provolone cheese (230 calories)
  2. 2 oz turkey pastrami + 1 serving black eyed peas (250 calories)
  3. 1 serving black eyed peas + 1 slice provolone cheese (210 calories)
  4. 1 serving black eyed peas + 1 tsp. mayo (200 calories)
  5. 2 rice cakes + butter (150 calories)
  6. 1 Roasted Nut Crunch Bar (170 calories)
