So what is it about free food, that even if it's unhealthy, makes it ok to abandon my healthy eating goals? Yesterday it was a biscuit and hash browns, today it will be a latte and some sweet treat b/c of a Starbucks gift card. Hmmm, not being 100% financially secure I'm sure has a lot to do with it. Doesn't help the weight loss goals when it's all carbs and sweets. :\ I keep saying to myself that I will start healthy eating habits anew... tomorrow... so I'll eat this muffin and that burger today - but tomorrow! will be a free biscuit and hash browns.... I think I just need to start today, and every day, and take it a day at a time to do my best.
Free food will really sabatoge you. I used to work in an office where people were constantly dragging in homemade goodies. I found the best plan was to take it back to my desk and dump it in the waste can when no one was lookinng.
