Falling in Love With Healthy Living is Like, Well…Falling in Love!

Last night, after a productive day of packing (I was like the Tasmanian Devil), setting up the Wii (I am the best big sister), making a delicious lunch for my family and Eric, and doing a little workout, it was time for my Wellsphere webinar. While I was blow drying my hair (ugh), I re-wrote my presentation with — what else?!- — an extended metaphor! I wanted to talk about motivation and how to fall in love with fitness, and I realized…this has to relate to sex in some way or another.
I love when I re-write something and it’s way better the second time around! I felt a lot better about my new Shed Theater-esque speech. And doing the webinar was way more fun than I anticipated. The live Q & A was great. I was just so excited to see what people were going to ask next (while secretly thinking that they were going to ask something totally inappropriate). It was a challenge to be on the spot with everything — I was worried I wouldn’t have an answer. But I thought everything went really, really well.
Anyway, I know a lot of people couldn’t attend for whatever reason, but you can still watch the video here!
After the webinar, I was thoroughly happy and excited and all in my zone, and then I went and fired up the grill for the first time in three weeks. It was amazing; I just can’t live without a grill in the summer! I made my grilled Romaine Caesar salad with flank steak and served it with some of the best bread and butter ever. After, I was in a total state of happiness and bliss. Eric and I got ice cream and took a little walking tour of downtown Grand Blanc (not too exciting at all). We had full plans to play with the Wii but ended up getting sucked into a show about Pompeii and then one about lions. It’s so nice to have someone to indulge my inner nerd when flipping channels.
Today it’s on to the next phase of packing, but I kinda want to whip through it in the next hour and then just be done. It’s so nice outside and I just want to go out and play! My time at home will be over before I know it and I’d prefer not to be ass-deep in my clothes for the entire day.
