Eat real food in moderation (grain free if possible).
Drink the least inflammatory and sugary alcoholic drinks as possible. Although I love a good amber beer every now and then, beer is not very waist friendly and it can cause other issues behind the scenes like systemic inflammation because beer is made from grains. A glass of red wine (white has more sugar), skinny margarita (recipe below), a neat shot of “ The Balvenie ” Scotch whiskey or fine sipping tequila are much better choices.
Munch on Veggies, Shrimp, Olives, Nuts, Salami or Cheese (grass fed raw is best) instead of Chips or Crackers while enjoying your hour of happiness.
