Next time you go on a diet, try to drop your old assumptions.

For example:

  • Dieting is torture
  • I'm a failure at dieting
  • I can change my eating quickly
  • All I need is a food plan
  • I can do it without weight loss help or dieting support
  • I shouldn't think of past failures
  • I need to be perfect on a diet

Don't assume any of these things. In fact, how about assuming the opposite of each one? It will change your thinking, and that's a powerful step toward weight loss success.
