For some reason, Forrest Gump popped into my head today. I aspire to be like Forrest. I think I might add running across the USA to my list of life goals. Running across America sounds pretty damn amazing. For now, however, I’ll focus on the present. Baby steps first. By the time you read this, I will be running my first 5K race ever .
So cheer for me, and cheer for yourself. If I can do it, so can you.
I encourage you all to find a 5K race, sign up, mark your calendars, and start training!

Workout: Treadmill. Bench press. Biceps. SAUNA.
I did a sprint/walk mile in 10 minutes. Apparently, I can hold an 8.3 pace for longer than a minute. I’m pumped! I also re-discovered my love for the sauna. Talk about an amazing sweat.
For the weekly challenge , I finished the day with eight 17-ounce bottles of water.
