Hey all, no I haven't gone off the rails and binged. I'm 13 days into paleo and feeling better than ever. Something about ridding the body of gluten and dairy has really improved my ability to function.
I still get those nasty cravings for cookies and ice cream every once in a while, but I have a much easier time controlling them since I can calm the beast within with a bit of fruit or sweet potatoes.
I dunno, it's pretty baller, and I'm back down to 190, which is better than 194 at least.
I had my personal training assessment on Tuesday, and not only was the dude really HOT but he kicked my ass and taught me proper form on some of my core lifts. After the assessment, I proceeded to fork over my life savings for the three month contract (you think I'm kidding). If I don't get results by the end of February, then I'll really be about ready to call it quits.
So yeah, that's life I guess. I'm going down to Chicago this weekend for my cousin's holiday party, and I really need to not cave in and go to Dunkin Doughnuts (not available here in the shitty twin cities). Please, wish me luck.
