Daily Report #122 and Hate-Loss Challenge Day 23

Finally!

I was able to exercise today.  I decided to take it slow and do Leslie Sansone walking dvd equal to 2 miles.  I tell you, if you are ever wanting to ease back into exercise from a long hiatus or after an illness, Leslie Sansone is the way to go.  Her exercise program is so easy to follow, and easy to adapt to for different fitness levels.

Anyway, it went really well and it felt so great to sweat again.  I just hope I can get back to where I was before I starting feeling under the weather two weeks ago.  I have a 5k in less than 3 weeks.  Not sure if PR-ing that race is doable at this point or not.

A few too many treats today, but still well within my calories.  While I was out running errands with two of my boys, I decided to stop at Brrrberry for some frozen yogurt treats.  I was so proud of me.  I got a really small portion for myself and only got what I really, really wanted.  Half of a small brownie, a very small portion of non-fat chocolate frozen yogurt, a small spoonful of Heath bar bits, drizzles of hot fudge and peanut butter, and a small squirt of spray whipped cream.  And it was just right.

After I was done, I thought, "I could eat another bite or two if I had any left".  And then it hit me.  That's the secret.  You should finish a meal thinking that you could eat another bite or two...comfortably.  And then you know you didn't overdo it.
