I haven't written a blog in a while, but I haven't been doing so hot on my diet. In the whole month of August, I only lost 6 pounds. I know partly its because I have been excercising regularly, but also its because with inservice week at school, I went out to lunch four of the days.
I did remarkably well going out, of which I won't get into hairy details here, but still I only lost one pound that whole time. Also, all last week I never excercised, but I chalk it up to being exhausted after having 12 hour work days, on my feet and moving most of that time. Once school settles down, I can start excercising again. Speaking of which, I am joining the YMCA this week. I waited because I got a free two week membership before I start my full membership, but my Y was closing down for the week due to maitenance and junk, so I decided to wait until it reopened tomorrow.
Yea! I am so excited. They have so much stuff, and they have things for my daughter to do, too, so she can start understanding how good it feels to be physically active. Plus, if she is involved in an activity there twice a week, I am more likely to go work out at least that often. We'll see.
My grand total so far for my diet, since July 1st, is 22 pounds. Yea! I am out of the morbidly obese category and now I am just obese. Still horrible, but not as bad. 37 more pounds, and I will be just plain old overweight, instead of obese. I wish I could get my sister to start this with me. I know she is closer to 300 than 200. I worry about her.
