I've been hungry since the alarm went off this morning, and I can't seem to make my stomach stop rumbling! I ate high fiber cereal this morning because I thought 14 grams of fiber would fill me up, but I was wrong.
Next up, an apple (half with PB) and a kiwi both with skin on. I felt better afterwards but definitely not full.
At 10 am, I made a run down to the cafeteria because I needed something (anything) quick to eat. I chose a lowfat pineapple yogurt and a banana. The yogurt wasn't very good and when I looked on the back I noticed that it was pumped full of high fructose corn syrup! I should have known better than to think that our cafeteria would stock a decent yogurt. At least my banana was yummy... always have to look on the bright side.
I didn't pack my lunch last night and I didn't have time this morning, so it was back down to the cafeteria for lunch. Nothing looked appealing or healthy. :( The only thing that looked slightly tasty is the grilled cheese sandwich. I love me a good grilled cheese sandwich and I haven't had one in a long time, so I thought, why not? I also made myself a small salad with mixed greens, garbanzo beans, shredded cabbage and carrots and peas with Italian dressing. I was with company so I don't have any photos from lunch. My sandwich was good, but the only thing healthy about it was the whole wheat bread it was made on, though.
I have a delicious spaghetti dinner planned for tonight. I haven't decided if I'm going to make my sauce from scratch or use a little help from a jar. I guess it depends on how ambitious I feel! Besides, jar sauces are pretty good these days. ;)
Woops, I almost forgot! I also had a piece of chocolate for my after work treat!!
