Basketball, soccer and...dieting? Is there a common theme?
The more shots on goal in soccer, the more attempts to put the ball in the basket in basketball, the more players end up scoring. With more attempts come more opportunities to see what's wrong, to adjust the shot, to get in to rhythm. The result is more success.
Players keep trying, keep shooting for it, even if they're off their shot for a whole game. They will try again in the next game if they want to score.
So, if you've tried to diet many times and failed, remember to make sure you get back in the game. Keep taking those shots at your goal and making the kinds of adjustments that will bring you closer and closer.
