It's pretty dreary and rainy here today and it poored last night, but it actually made for a cozy night in last night. We were dog sitting for a few friends and we ordered in. I got Chinese which I seriously haven't had in EONS! It was okay; not as good as back home, or it could just be that my tastes and food preferences have changed and it wasn't cracked up to what it
used to be. Which is GOOD because it means I'm not putting so much personal gratification on food anymore.
But, I STILL ate too much! I just can't seem to master this issue! If I indulge in something like this, whether it be our Friday night pizza or whatever, I always seem to eat past my comfort level and regret it for the rest of the night. Yeah yeah, it's counted, within my points and all that, but will I
ever get over this part? Is it ironic that it is the Chinese who say that you should eat until you are 8/10ths full?
I suppose it's not the end of the world because I don't eat like that regularly, but still, it does bug me! I'm sure some of it can be attributed to the MSG in the food that I'm not used to eating, but the issue is still there.
